What kinds of organisations are a good fit for Vantrel?
We work with product and engineering organisations where cloud infrastructure has become difficult to operate, delivery is constrained by repeated platform work, or reliability and security expectations are rising. We are most useful when internal teams can participate in decisions and want to own the result.
Which cloud providers do you work with?
Our work spans AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The right service depends on your existing estate, skills, contractual position and workload needs. We do not recommend changing providers without a concrete operating reason.
How do you approach security?
Security is part of the operating design: identity boundaries, least privilege, workload isolation, evidence, secrets handling and reviewable policy controls. We work with your security stakeholders and map implementation to your organisation’s own obligations and risk decisions.
Will a migration disrupt our live services?
Migration always carries risk, but a good plan makes it visible and bounded. We map dependencies, define validation and rollback steps, agree cutover criteria with service owners and move in phases. The exact sequence depends on your availability and data constraints.
What documentation do you leave behind?
The documentation reflects the work delivered: architecture decision records, deployment and operating guides, runbooks, platform conventions and handover notes. We keep it concise, reviewed with your team and placed where it can be maintained.
How does knowledge transfer work?
Knowledge transfer happens throughout delivery through pairing, design reviews, walkthroughs and supported ownership. We agree the team’s role in the work early, then use the final stage to close gaps in confidence, access and operational context.
Do you provide 24/7 support coverage?
Vantrel can help design escalation models and may agree ongoing support coverage as part of a scoped engagement. Availability, response expectations, contact routes and exclusions must be agreed in writing. The public website form is not an emergency response channel.
How long does an engagement usually take?
A focused review may take a few weeks; build and embedded delivery commonly run from three to twelve months, depending on scope and team capacity. We set milestones around outcomes and decision points rather than promising a fixed timeline before understanding the constraints.
How will your team work with ours?
We join your established working cadence where practical, make decisions with service owners and relevant partners, and deliver in reviewable increments. Our team is expected to explain trade-offs, share work in progress and leave ownership with your engineers.
How do you handle information shared with you?
We ask for only the context needed to assess or deliver the work. Public enquiries should not include credentials or sensitive personal data. During an engagement, access, handling, retention and deletion expectations are agreed with the client and appropriate contractual terms.
Can you work with our procurement and security review process?
Yes. We can provide relevant company and engagement information for your review, participate in reasonable security and procurement discussions, and agree a scope that reflects your governance process. Requirements and timing should be raised early.
How should I contact Vantrel?
Use the enquiry form on the Contact page for a new project or general question. Existing clients should use the contact and escalation route agreed for their engagement. For urgent production incidents, follow your organisation’s incident process—not the public form.
